My Moment Media ("we", "us") is a video production company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This policy explains what information we collect through mymomentmedia.ca and the software tools we operate, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Contact form. Name, email, phone and business details you type into our contact form. This is sent to us by email so we can reply.
Client portal. If you are a client, an email address and password (or a sign-in with Google) so you can access your files and content calendar.
Usage data. Standard server logs and privacy-friendly analytics (page views, country, browser). No advertising trackers.

Google user data and YouTube

We build and operate internal tools that connect to Google services, including the YouTube Data API, so we can upload videos and set titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails on channels our clients have authorised us to manage. When a channel owner grants access through Google sign-in, we receive an access token for that channel. We use it only to publish and update the videos that client has asked us to publish. We do not sell, share or use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models. Tokens are stored encrypted on our own equipment and are deleted when a client relationship ends or on request. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our use of YouTube API Services is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

How we use information

To reply to enquiries and deliver the services you hire us for.
To give clients access to their footage, edits and schedules.
To publish content on the channels you have authorised.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers needed to run the site and deliver work (hosting, email delivery, file storage), and only as required for that purpose. We never sell personal information.

Retention

Enquiries are kept for up to two years. Client files are kept for the length of the engagement plus 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We follow Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's PIPEDA.
